Book your session below. Here is what booking actually does — and why doing it early matters.

Why book?

Booking reserves a specific block of time on my calendar for you and your family. Once that block is yours, it stays yours — which means I cannot accidentally schedule another session on top of it. That is the whole job of a booking: your time is held, and nobody else can take it.

Why book early?

You get the date you actually want

Most families have a particular day in mind — the weekend everyone is in town, the week before graduation, fall color at its peak. Those dates go first, and once one is taken it is gone. Booking ahead is how you get the exact date and time you know you are going to want a photographer.

Weddings especially

If you are planning a wedding, book your photographer far in advance. Wedding calendars fill months ahead, and reserving a Saturday in October a year out is a very different proposition from going looking for that same Saturday in August. Book early and you know your photographer is already scheduled.

It works a lot like airfare

Booking a flight a year out is almost always a better price than booking it the month before. Photography behaves the same way across the industry: as calendars tighten, what is left is short-notice work, and short-notice work costs more everywhere you look. Booking early keeps you out of that squeeze entirely. My listed pricing is for sessions booked ahead; if a date is already taken and I have to fit you in between existing bookings, that is quoted separately.

What happens once you book

• A non-refundable 50% deposit reserves your date and time, taken as you book.
• The balance is due 30 days before your session, so nobody is thinking about invoices on the day.
• We talk through location and timing beforehand. I will suggest spots that suit your family, or shoot somewhere you already have in mind.
• Your fully edited gallery arrives within 5–7 business days.
